I enjoy the shading very, very much (the backgrounds aren't actually black, just alpha channel).

Another color test, with quick test backgrounds. No shading/lighting yet. Possibly the main colors for the characters, but I might just use different colors on a shot-by-shot basis. The cat will probably remain the same color throughout, at least up until the very end.
